Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Health, Safety & Wellbeing policies and procedures.
- Monitor and review Health, Safety, and Wellbeing performance regularly.
- Investigate accidents, injuries, and work-related diseases, ensuring timely and effective corrective actions.
- Oversee first aid provision, plant/equipment maintenance, and subcontractor performance.
- Provide operational technical advice and support to ensure continuous improvement in Health and Safety performance.
Key Requirements
- NEBOSH General Certificate level or equivalent (essential).
- Technician Member of IOSH (TechIOSH) desirable.
- Experience in engineering health and safety.
- Familiarity with ISO45001 and HSE legislation.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Health and Safety Advisor.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and management skills.
- Ability to influence, negotiate, and persuade colleagues at all levels.
- NEBOSH Level 6 Occupational Health Diploma or equivalent.
- Chartered Member of IOSH (CMIOSH).
- Experience working to ISO45001.
