Look no further! We have an exciting opening for a Health and Safety Trainer to join our client's team.
Our client is a leading provider of Health and Safety services to a wide range of disciplines including construction. The role offers flexible work arrangements with hybrid working and a requirement to travel to offices and sites across the South West and occassionaly nationwide.
Role Responsibilities
As a Health and Safety Trainer within the Construction department, you will:
- Conduct CITB certified training and construction-focused courses at training centres across the South West
- Perform site safety inspections, incident investigations and reviews at client premises and construction sites
- Assist in developing Construction Phase Plans and related documentation
- Identify areas for improvement in HSE management systems and training needs through gap analyses
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Brings 5+ years of experience in the construction sector (as a Health and Safety Advisor/Trainer or at Site Manager level)
- Holds or is working towards CMIOSH certification
- Excels in delivering engaging training and Health & Safety consultancy services
- Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to providing top-notch customer service
- Be presentable and maintain high personal and professional standards
- Is proficient in both in-person and online training delivery
- Be willing to travel throughout the South West with occasional travel nationwide.
