Health, Safety And Environment Manager

The Company 

Work for one of the UK’s best-known, household brands. You will be the Health, Safety and Environment Manager for the Bradford manufacturing facility. The Bradford site already has a positive and strong safety culture; your role is to continue to enable and empower your coworkers to achieve even more. 

About the role - Reporting to the Site Lead and with a dotted line to Group HSE your daily responsibilities will include: 

-Leading the auditing function for the site/company.  

-Leading, developing, and implementing sustainable HSE management programmes 

-Designing the site strategy for HSE 

-Ensuring standards and statutory accreditations are retained. (ISO,DSEAR) 

-Working with Group HSE to enhance current systems 

-Managing the contractor management process 

-Be the HSE expert for the Bradford site: Site Lead, SLT and employees 

-Facilitate and assist with the investigation of all accidents 

-Work collaboratively with the SLT to determine opportunities to improve HSE and current OP’s  

About You - You will have a passion for health, Safety and Environment and enjoy working collaboratively with all coworkers regardless of career level 

Experience of leading impactful cultural/behavior-based health and safety initiatives 

Previous experience influencing SLT’s and designing site strategies 

You need previous experience in a manufacturing/processing environment 

A qualification in health and safety at Level 3, Nebosh etc.
