Are you passionate about health and safety? Do you have experience coordinating and maintaining a health and safety service across multiple locations? Our client, a well-established organisation in Brentwood, is looking for a Health & Safety Coordinator to join their team.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to promote and develop a safety culture within the organisation, acting as a focal point for guidance and training in health and safety matters. Working closely with the Health and Safety Consultant, you will ensure that all responsibilities associated with health and safety are adhered to.
Key Responsibilities:
Regularly review, monitor, and update the online Health and Safety Management System in line with organisational policy.
Establish and maintain an accurate risk profile for the organisation, ensuring that the Health and Safety Management Plan remains current and fit for purpose.
Provide regular reports to the Health and Safety Sub Committee and the Board on health and safety matters.
Monitor health and safety performance and offer support to Line Managers in discharging their health and safety responsibilities.
Coordinate the process for regular communication and distribution of information to all those with health and safety responsibilities.Required Skills and Experience:
Recent experience as a Health & Safety Officer/Advisor/Manager.
Experience coordinating and maintaining a health and safety service across multiple locations.
Ability to handle, analyse, and manage large amounts of data.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to disseminate information to diverse groups.
Knowledge of current health and safety legislation and guidance.Qualifications:
NEBOSH National General Certificate (desirable).
