Health & Safety Lead

Health & Safety Lead wanted for a large Pharma project in West Dublin for one of Irelands biggest Building and Engineering companies.

Contractor or PAYE positions available with amazing packages on offer. Lengthy career for the right canditate.

Health & Safety Lead background with a proven track record in leading teams in Pharma (ideally) environments or other similar industries. At least 5 years Health & Safety Lead experience.

Experience & Requirements:

• Toolbox Safety talks, Develop, promote and maintain a strong, pro-active health, safety and well-being culture
• Contribute to the proper drafting and effective communication of the Company's EHS policies
• Member of IOSH, Certified level as a minimum (CMIOSH preferred)
• Degree or equivalent in Environmental, Health and Safety management
• 5 Years minimum EHS management experience
• Experience of implementing EHS Management Systems and supporting procedures
• Experienced in disaster planning, resolution and recovery
• An advanced knowledge of construction health and safety principles with proven technical skills in occupational safety and health disciplines
• Experience in developing and implementing behavioural safety programmes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong influencing and negotiation skills.
• Coordinate and lead, the investigation of incidents ensuring root cause analysis is completed and corrective actions are implemented.
• Influence employee work practices through dialogue, relationship building and behavioural safety coaching.
