Health & Safety Manager

As an HSE Manager, you will ensure legal compliance is adhered to and best practice is adopted. You will also provide professional advice, information and guidance on legal standards and best practices to all teams and individuals based across the facility.

If you were already in this HSE role, here are some of the areas you would have been working in this week:

• Developing and ensuring that all local safety management systems are maintained and kept up to date at both sites
• Being the site's subject matter expert for Health & Safety
• Being the site lead for environmental improvement activity and spearheading an ongoing CI approach towards environmental risk issues
• Being site-lead contact with Head Office for all environmental, sustainability and CSR issues
• Providing high-quality professional advice to line managers on all aspects of health, safety and environmental legislation and good practice.

To apply for this HSE Manager role, you will need relevant experience in a similar role. You will also require experience with the following:

• Health and safety policy, environmental policy, and any other policy that falls within the scope of this role
• Experience with fire marshals, first-aids, firewills, H+S champions and risk assessments
• Experience working with safety systems and procedures for recording and investigating accidents.
