We’re looking for a passionate and confident Health and Safety Officer to join our team working for the UKs largest Housing association.
Covering Clarion’s North Region of England you will be expected to travel regularly to Stevenage and Borehamwood and across other regions at times.
You’ll be responsible for providing health and safety guidance, advice and support whilst helping to achieve our goals and objectives. With strong admin skills and excellent research, analytical and organisational skills, you’ll ensure a consistent approach whilst delivering high standards of service.
Able to work on your own initiative and present data to a variety of audiences you’ll review health and safety documents, manage databases, monitoring industry publications and provide updates. You’ll also carry out regular routine inspections and audits and be able to interpret legislation based documents and apply these to the repairs environment.
Practical working knowledge of asbestos and working at heights is essential along with a sound knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and a NEBOSH level 3 certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent).
