About the company
Established in 1981 they have grown over the years' and now manufacture in excess of 20,000 tonnes of board per annum.
They operate two modern, 2-meter-wide, 4 ply laminators and have ability to offer boards from 400um to 5000um. This allows them to offer a diverse range of products from premium packaging for luxury good and high-end graphical application to industrial uses such as bedding board, cable end disks and transits sheets used within the logistics industry.

Responsibilities
* Ensuring the company is compliant and up to date with all relevant legislation and regulations.
* Ensure the company remain compliant to ISO 14001:2015 and ISO9001:2015.
* Undertake accident investigations.
* Lead and provide advice on any Health & Safety improvements to ensure the safety of all personnel, contractors and visitors.
* Conduct Health & Safety awareness training when required.
* Conduct safety inspections throughout the group.
* Coordinating risk assessments and ensure they are current and effective within all departments.
* Monitor the accident and incident system and make improvements if needed.
* Continue to improve the Health & Safety within the company.
* Control and investigate any Health & Safety claims or complaints.
* Provide regular updates to senior management of any key improvements and issues.
* Any other Health & Safety related duties as and when required.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience
* Qualified to NEBOSH as a minimum.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to lead improvements.
* Must have held a similar position previously.
* Previous Health & Safety experience within a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
* A high level of IT skills, including Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
* A full UK driving licence.

Preston, Lancashire
Hours of Work
8am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday
