Health, Safety, & Security Manager

Qin Recruitment is working with an independent co-educational boarding and day school in Cambridge for 11- 18-year-olds.
Due to a retirement, they are seeking an experienced and qualified Health, Safety and Security Manager who will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the school site for pupils, staff, and visitors.

The Health, Safety, and Security Manager will manage a team including H&S, Fire Marshals, and Security staff. The manager will be responsible for championing and driving forward health and safety compliance within the school to meet changing legislative requirements and monitoring all matters relating to health, safety, and security.
Qualifications & Experience

• You must have experience working in a health, safety, and compliance role and have up-to-date knowledge and skills in Health and safety legislation, training, new developments, risk assessment, and control.
• You will have a proactive and positive attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• You will also have a relevant IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.
• School experience is not an essential requirement, but of course, will be advantageous.
