Healthcare Advisory Lawyer 2Pqe+

Our client is a leading law firm in Healthcare seeking a solicitor with at least 2 years' PQE to join their Healthcare Advisory Team working on a range of matters including:

• Inquests;
• Mental health law;
• Mental capacity/Court of Protection and; 
• General advisory queries about legal issues arising in clinical care.

The work will involve high profile and sensitive cases, acting largely for the NHS but also private health providers and MDOs.

Strong advocacy skills and experience in related areas of law such as information governance, clinical negligence, or child law would be advantageous.

The successful candidate will possess:

• Circa 3 years’ PQE but other levels of PQE will be considered. 
• Solid experience in Healthcare Advisory work.
• The ability to handle a busy caseload of Healthcare Advisory cases, which will include but not be limited to inquests, mental capacity/Court of Protection matters, mental health law, treatment cases and general healthcare advice. 
• Inquest advocacy experience is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with NHS Resolution procedures is desirable.
