We are looking for compassionate and committed Healthcare Assistants, who are passionate about delivering the highest quality two-to-one care for our service user, building positive relationships with them and their family while enabling them to live as independently as possible in their own home.
Meet our service user
Our service user is a cheerful, and pleasant young man in his 20’s who lives in Winsford and requires support throughout the day and night on a 2:1 basis.
He loves the interaction from others and being out and about in the community, at home he enjoys watching TV, his favourites to watch include The Chase, and sports programmes.
Throughout the day you will be required to assist him to enjoy his hobbies, interests and accessing his social activities, as well as meeting his clinical care needs, and supporting with his personal care and moving and handling requirements.
Throughout the night you will provide support with his personal care needs, repositioning, clinical observations and attending to his clinical needs when required. You will provide a safe and calming environment to promote a restful night’s sleep.
Essential Experience Required
- 3 months previous care experience
- Medication Administration
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
Desirable Experience
- Tracheostomy Care
- Ventilation Care
- PEG Feeding
- Epilepsy Management
- Learning disability experience
We have the following shifts available;
- Part Time
- 2-3 shifts per week
- Days – 7am-7pm
- Nights – 7pm-7am
Take a look at our pay rates
Weekdays : £14.50 per hour (£174 approx. per 12 hour shift)
Weeknights : £15.00 per hour (£180 approx. per 12 hour shift)
Saturday : £15.50 per hour (£186 approx. per 12 hour shift)
Sunday : £15.50 per hour (£186 approx. per 12 hour shift)
Bank Holiday : £20.50 per hour (£246 approx. per 12 hour shift)
