Job Title: Health Care Assistant
Location: Retford, Nottinghamshire
Hours: Full-time
Salary: 10.50 - 11.00 per hour
We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join a team of exceptional carers. The ideal candidates will be passionate about providing person-centered care to the residents, ensuring they receive the highest standard of support with daily activities, personal care, and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing. Support residents with mobility issues, ensuring they remain safe and comfortable. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a warm and nurturing environment. Assist with meal preparation and feeding, adhering to dietary requirements and preferences. Encourage residents to participate in recreational activities and social events, promoting social interaction and engagement. Maintain accurate records of care provided, including daily logs and incident reports. Collaborate effectively with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care delivery. Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations to uphold the highest standards of care and safety.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar care role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is advantageous. Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive difference in residents' lives. Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently when required. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Benefits:
