Healthcare Partnership Manager - Speciality and Biosimilar Medicines - SW England & S Wales
Our client is one of the largest privately-owned independent OTC and pharmaceutical manufacturers in the UK and exports worldwide. They continually grow their business every year in the UK and International markets by innovation and acquisition.
They now have an exciting opportunity as a Healthcare Partnership Manager (HPM) at the location shown. The HPM is responsible for achieving optimal formulary positioning and driving sales growth for within designated territories
for biosimilar/specialty brands, within allocated health economies.
As the single point of contact the HPM will work predominantly across the Trust/ICB/HB, demonstrating a targeted approach to account planning, focusing on high-opportunity accounts. The emphasis is on building partnerships with stakeholder groups through face-to-face contact, utilising digital methods when necessary, and adapting to meet customers' needs.
The primary objective is to deliver adoption and prescribing of our brands in the secondary care environment whilst driving execution and pull through to deliver sales growth.
The HPM will report to the Regional Business Manager, whilst collaboratively working alongside the Marketing Team to achieve optimal market access positioning and successful sales growth within dedicated health economies, for biosimilar/specialty brands in hospitals.
Required Skills & Experience:
- In-depth knowledge of the Secondary Care NHS structure, policy, processes, and key governing bodies.
- Extensive understanding of the Secondary care prescription medicines market, formulary inclusion process and healthcare system.
- Understanding of the decision-making processes and key stakeholders within Trust/ICB/HB.
- Knowledge of sales strategies and techniques for driving formulary inclusion, optimisation, and sales growth.
- Proficiency in market analysis, including competitor intelligence gathering and customer insights.
