Vetro Nursing is actively seeking experienced Healthcare Support Workers for immediate starts within Aneurin Bevan UHB hospitals, where Day Shifts will be available in Newport, Cwmbran, Ebbw Vale, Ystrad Mynach, Chepstow and Pontypool.
Ideally, you would have all of the requirements listed below as we are looking to place candidates within two weeks of application. The ideal candidate will have worked previously within an NHS hospital setting as a Healthcare Support Worker.

- General Pay: £12.44 to £21.34 per hour (PAYE)

The role: What will you do as a Healthcare Support Worker
You must have at least 6 months UK experience within an acute medical or mental health setting. This is non-negotiable.
Within this role you will be supporting the trained nurses in delivering direct care for patients and have excellent support from a team of Sisters including a dedicated band 6 sister and a unit manager.
You will provide therapeutic care and support to patients, which includes observing, monitoring, and keeping a record of patient conditions, treating each person with dignity, compassion, and honesty.

The requirements below are mandatory.
- You must have at least 6 months recent and relevant experience within an acute medical or mental health setting
- Proof of Immunisations for TB, Hepatitis B, Varicella and MMR
- Up-to-date training certificates
- Practical Manual Handling
- Restraint Training
- UK Resident
- You must have the right to work in UK
