SPI Care Ltd is a reputable care agency dedicated to providing exceptional mental health support services to individuals in need. As we continue to expand our services, we are seeking passionate, caring and dedicated Mental Health Support Workers to join our team.

You will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals diagnosed with mental health conditions such as learning disabilities, dementia, acquired brain injury or physical disabilities in a variety of settings. Your primary goal will be to provide the best standards of person-centred care and support by promoting independence and well-being. Also, all of the individuals we support demonstrate some level of challenging behaviour along with their other support needs.

Responsibilities:

- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing

- Assist with meal preparation and feeding

- Assist with mobility and transfers, including using assistive devices and techniques

- Manage Chalenging behaviour.

- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients

- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up and laundry

- Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals

Minimum Requirements:

- A minimum of 6 months recent experience in the UK

- Right to work in the UK

- DBS Check/Update Service Check

- Proof of Mandatory training aligned to the Skills for Health UK CSTF standards including practical components.

- 2x UK references

- 2 proofs of residence not older than 3 months

- Valid UK driver's license and/or access to a car
