Healthy Homes Advisor

Flexible - Gloucester/Oxford

Salary - £30,000 per annum (depending on skills and experience) + Plus (£750 Car Allowance)

Contract type - Permanent.

Workings Hours - Full Time

About the role

We are currently recruiting for a Healthy Homes Advisor on a full-time basis. Based on 37 hours per week. Based in Gloucester/Oxford areas.

At GreenSquareAccord, we take damp and mould issues seriously. Our aim is to eradicate damp and mould from our customers` homes and to support them through this process. We would like an individual to be a part of the team supporting tenants in our work to deal with the issues of damp and mould. The role will be integral to helping people in a supportive and understanding way and providing them with advice on how to best deal with the issues leading to damp and mould.

Its an exciting time to join GreenSquareAccord as this role is pivotal in helping us to achieve our goals.

Within the role you will be required to provide advice to customers to optimise humidity in their homes, to reduce the effects of condensation and effectively utilise their heating system and convey small changes that can make a difference.

You will identify and report property surveys that require detailed technical investigations or complex solutions and plan and schedule visits at the customers convenience.

There will be a requirement to undertake cleaning/treatment of small areas of mould growth whilst providing support and advising customers how to maintain a healthy home and report any minor remedial repairs, follow up and ensure they have been completed.

You will provide guidance, instruction, and training to customers to enable them to mitigate damp, mould, or condensation related hazards within their home that are not due to structural or component failure.

About you

It is essential that you have property maintenance or housing experience gained in a Housing Association or Local Authority.

You will be required to be organised and methodical and be able to prioritise work to meet deadlines. Accuracy is also key to this role.

You will be an advocate for continuous improvement to improve the lives and homes of our customers and you must have experience of managing a variety of data accurately and paying attention to detail.

You must also have previous experience of producing clear and concise letters and emails to internal and external customers and stakeholders.
