Aster Building Services Ltd is looking for a mobile Heating Engineer with commercial gas safe qualifications to join their team.
Ideally, you will be based around Surrey/Hampshire/Berkshire border, south-west London. Able to travel in the home counties and London as required.
Role Overview
As a Heating Engineer with us, you will play a crucial role in the Installation and servicing of both commercial and domestic heating systems, including combustion appliances, renewables, and HVAC equipment. From conducting planned service work to executing installations of air source heat pumps, you will be involved in diverse projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct planned service work on a range of combustion appliances and HVAC systems, including Air Source Heat Pumps
- Install air source heat pumps for residential and commercial properties, from initial design surveys to project completion
- Undertake Installation and replacement of HVAC appliances under small works projects, ensuring quality pipework and plumbing workmanship
- Perform fault finding and troubleshooting with precision and efficiency
- Adhere to strict Health and Safety guidelines, developing RAMS and Safe Systems of Work
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed using our internal field service and management systems
- Participate in the emergency call-out rota and demonstrate unwavering commitment to customer care
Requirements and Skills:
- Hold relevant qualifications and commercial gas safe certifications
- Exhibit a strong desire for self-improvement and professional development, including heat pump training
- Possess expertise in commercial and residential plumbing and pipework installation
- Demonstrate a keen eye for detail, ensuring every installation is carried out safely and efficiently
- Display a practical and theoretical understanding of heating and plumbing systems within building services environments
- Maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, clients, and customers
- Hold a full driving licence and be willing to travel as required
- Embrace learning opportunities and stay updated with industry legislation
- Ability to manage and maintain accurate records using our field service software system
