Are you an experienced HGV 1 ADR Driver seeking a temporary role in the driving industry? We have an exciting opportunity with our client, based in Bradford, for a skilled individual to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a HGV 1 vehicle, adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies
- Transport hazardous goods in accordance with ADR regulations
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each journey, ensuring any defects are promptly reported
- Collaborate with the transport team to plan routes and schedules effectively
- Provide exceptional customer service while delivering goods to various locations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including fuel consumption, mileage, and schedules
- Collaborate with colleagues and liaise with customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Comply with health and safety regulations at all times
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications:
- Valid HGV 1 (Category C+E) license
- ADR certification for transporting hazardous goods
- Minimum 2 years of relevant driving experience
- A clean driving record, free from any major convictions or penalties
- Good knowledge of road traffic regulations and safe driving practices
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete necessary paperwork accurately
- Flexible and adaptable, capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude
Pay Rate: £15.00 to £16.00 per hour
