We are a recruitment agency that specialises in finding the best drivers for transport companies. We are currently working with a reputable transport company based in Rochdale, who are looking for HGV Class 1 drivers to join their team.
As a HGV Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for:
Driving a HGV Class 1 vehicle safely and efficiently
Trunking goods from Heywood to various locations in the UK
Following the company’s policies and procedures
Completing all relevant paperwork and checks
Communicating with the transport office and customers
To be eligible for this role, you must have:
A valid HGV Class 1 licence
A valid CPC and Digi card
A minimum of 12 months experience as a HGV Class 1 driver
A good knowledge of UK roads and routes
A flexible and reliable attitude
A good level of English
PAYE pay rates:
Mon-Fri DAYS £15.18 per hour+ HOLIDAYS accrual
Mon-FRI NIGHTS £16.00 per hour + HOLIDAYS accrual
Saturday £16.80 per hour + HOLIDAYS accrual
Sunday £17.90 per hour + HOLIDAYS accrual
Suitable Applicant Requirements:
Must hold a valid CAT CE licence.
Must hold a valid CPC Card.
Must hold a valid Digital Tacho-graph Card.
No more than 6 points on your licence.
No IN10, DR10, MS10, TS10, TT99 or DR10.
Minimum 1 year Class 1 experience.
