HGV Class 1 Driver

Challenge-trg Recruitment is recruiting for a Class 1 HGV Drivers for our client based in Crewe, CW2 5UZ. We are recruiting to cover shift patterns including weekend coverage for store deliveries and trunking.

Your pay rate as an HGV Class 1 Driver will be:

Days: £17.73 per hour | Nights: £18.85 per hour

Your shift pattern as an HGV Class 1 Driver:

• Monday to Friday, 13:00pm – 16:00pm (preferred start time but we may be able to accommodate if a different time suits you)
• There are various start times available with a current average shift length of 10-12 hours

What the HGV Class 1 Driver can expect:

• Weekly Pay
• Guaranteed minimum shift payment of 8 hours
• 24-hour assistance night operation team
• There will be regular ongoing work

Your requirements as an HGV Class 1 Driver:

• A full Class 1 HGV Licence held for Min 2 years required
• A valid Drivers CPC Card
• A digital tachograph card
• A full understanding of WTD legislation
• Reliable and excellent time keeping
• Flexible with start times & working days
