Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This is a vital role in our organization as you will play a key part in ensuring timely and safe deliveries.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Load and unload cargo as needed
- Plan routes and ensure on-time deliveries
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
Skills:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Proven experience as a truck driver or delivery driver
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to operate various types of trucks, including flatbeds, box trucks, or tractor-trailers
- Strong time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Attention to detail for accurate record keeping
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and customers
