Job Description:

As a Class 1 DRIVER at XP RECRUITMENT , you will play a vital role in our logistics operations.
You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to our customers, contributing to our commitment to quality and reliability.
Here's what the role entails:

Key Responsibilities:

Transport goods and cargo from one location to another, following prescribed routes and schedules.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring the safety of both yourself and other road users.
Assist in the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper securing of cargo to prevent damage during transit.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
Maintain accurate records of driving activities, including driver logs, mileage, and delivery receipts.
Ensure all necessary paperwork, such as delivery notes and bills of lading, are completed accurately and submitted on time.
Comply with all health and safety regulations, including the safe handling of hazardous materials if applicable.
Adapt to a nocturnal schedule and maintain alertness during nighttime driving.

Qualifications:

A valid Class 1 driving licence
Knowledge of and adherence to safety regulations and procedures.
Physical fitness and ability to lift, load, and secure cargo.
Good communication skills and attention to detail.
