We are currently representing our client, a well-established company in the Driving industry, who is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join their team on a temporary basis in Goole.Key Responsibilities:- Safely operate and maneuver an HGV Class 1 vehicle to transport goods to various destinations.- Adhere to all road and traffic regulations to ensure the safety of yourself and others on the road.- Carry out vehicle checks before and after every journey, ensuring the vehicle is in proper working condition.- Promptly report any mechanical issues or accidents to the appropriate personnel.- Efficiently plan routes and navigate using maps or satellite navigation systems.- Ensure all relevant paperwork, such as delivery notes and route sheets, are completed accurately.- Maintain a high level of professionalism and excellent customer service while interacting with clients and handling deliveries.- Work collaboratively with the transport team to achieve set targets and meet deadlines.- Comply with company policies and procedures at all times.Qualifications and Skills:- Valid HGV Class 1 license.- CPC qualification.- Digital tachograph card.- Proven experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver.- Excellent driving skills and a safe track record.- Strong understanding of road traffic regulations and legal requirements.- Ability to effectively plan routes and adapt to changes in traffic or delivery schedules.- Good communication and interpersonal skills.- Attention to detail and accuracy in completing paperwork.- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.How to Apply:If you are an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver seeking a temporary opportunity in Goole, we invite you to apply today.
