This is an excellent chance to work with a reputable organization and excel in your driving career.Key Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently operate a Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Class 1, following all relevant regulations and guidelines.- Responsible for loading, transporting, and unloading goods while ensuring their safety and integrity.- Adhere to delivery schedules, efficiently managing your time to ensure timely arrivals and departures.- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any defects or issues promptly.- Maintain accurate documentation, including delivery notes, vehicle checklists, and any other required paperwork.- Communicate effectively with clients, providing exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, ensuring the safety of yourself and others at all times.- Assist with any additional duties or tasks as required by the client or Workchain.Qualifications:- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 license.- Possess a valid Driver CPC card.- Previous experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, ideally in a similar industry.- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices.- Excellent driving skills, with a record of reliability and punctuality.- Good communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.- Ability to work independently, managing your time efficiently and meeting delivery deadlines.- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to adapt and learn.Pay Rate: £13.00 - £14.00 per hourTo apply for this position, please visit our website at workchain.co.uk and complete the online application form.
