Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This is a crucial role in our company as you will be the face of our organization on the road.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations
- Load and unload cargo as needed
- Plan routes and ensure timely deliveries
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and transportation guidelines
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver or Delivery Driver
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
- Ability to operate a flatbed truck is preferred
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication and customer service skills
