This exciting opportunity offers a competitive pay rate ranging from £14.00 to £16.00 per hour.Key Responsibilities:- Safely operate and maneuver heavy goods vehicles (HGV) of Class 1 category.- Ensure prompt and timely deliveries of goods to assigned destinations.- Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.- Maintain accurate records, including delivery logs, timesheets, and mileage reports.- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements.- Communicate effectively with the dispatch team to coordinate and manage daily delivery schedules.- Provide excellent customer service, professionally representing our client's company at all times.- Follow all health and safety guidelines and take appropriate measures to prevent accidents or injuries.- Adapting to any changes in delivery routes or schedules as required.Qualifications:- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 driving license.- Possess a valid CPC Certificate.- Proven experience in a similar driving role is preferred.- Excellent knowledge of the UK road network and traffic regulations.- Ability to follow instructions and meet tight deadlines reliably.- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate, ranging from £14.00 to £16.00 per hour, based on experience and performance.
