SalaryAs an HGV Driver, you will be required to drive and operate vehicles and plant to the greatest profitability and efficiency for the purpose of delivering the Bio Recycling service within Thames Water sites and to external locations. To enter deliveries to the cake logging system as appropriate.
Within this role, you will be Safely operating vehicles associated with Bio Recycling services at Thames Water sites and external locations, Working collaboratively with other Thames Water employees across our sites to aid the efficient delivery of Bio Recycling’s activities.
HGV Driver Job Details
- Offering up to £45,752 per annum depending on shift.
- 45 hours per week, working a rotating shift pattern.
- This position is based in North/East London, where multiple base sites are available.
- Full training and excellent wider benefits package.
What should you bring to the role?
- Experience as a Class 1 HGV Driver is essential for deliveries and plant movements.
- Front end Loader licence holder would be beneficial.
- Experience on tipping lorries will be beneficial.
- Experience delivering to farms or agricultural sites is desirable.
- No more than 6 penalty points and no DR or IN convictions on your licence.
- A full driver CPC and a valid Driver Tachograph card.
- Demonstrate a clear knowledge of Transport Law and the Road Traffic Act.
- Have a working knowledge of Drivers Hours rules and Working Time regulations.
