On the Micheldever Tyre Services contract you will assist in providing all garages and dealerships within our coverage area with their orders on a daily basis.
An exciting opportunity for an HGV Class 1 driver has opened at our Micheldever Tyre Services in our Greenford site.
It is a full time, permanent role, working for Wincanton.
Shift Pattern: Sunday to Thursday
Start time: 11pm at night
Salary: £37.404 / annum + night allowance
Duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible for the delivery, unloading and return of tyres from customers daily.
- Ensuring all delivery and collection notes and paperwork are correct.
- Ensuring all transport legislation including drivers’ hours and defect reporting is adhered to.
- Collaboration with the wider team to continually improve ways of working & processes.
- Ensure all Legal, Health and Safety, Food Safety and Operational procedures are always adhered to ensure the safety of self and others.
- Report any injuries, accidents and any Health and Safety issues.
- Adhering to procedures and practises according to the training received.
- To participate and be involved in cultivating a culture of continuous improvement
- To carry out and other reasonable request as detailed by the transport management team.
- Maintain cleanliness of company vehicles and wear uniform and any PPE provided.
Experience, skills, and attributes:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Experience in driving is essential.
- Results orientated and can work to schedules.

- Understands the basics of Health and Safety procedures
