HGV Class 1 Driver

We are recruiting to cover Monday to Friday shift patterns for telephone communication deliveries and trunking. There are various start times available.

**Moffett licence or experience of Moffett would be advantageous**

Your pay rate as a HGV Class 1 Driver:

Days: £17.33 per hour | Nights: £23.05 per hour

Your role as a HGV Class 1 Driver:

• This will be a mix of trunking and telephone communication sites. Although the majority of the Class 1 work will be trunking you must also understand there will be an element of class 2 work involved as and when required (still paying Class 1 rate).
• You will be required to use a hand held scanning terminal to scan labels on cages, pallets etc – training will be given.
• There will be an element of hand balling on some items on the class 2 work mixture of pallets, cages and boxes.
• There will be a full days assessment you will be required to attend.
• Experience of moffett would be advantageous

The requirements as an HGV Class 1 Driver:

• A full Class 1 HGV Licence held for Min 2 years required
• A valid Drivers CPC Card
• A digital tachograph card
• A full understanding of WTD legislation
• Reliable and excellent time keeping
• Flexible with start times & working days
