HGV Class 2 Driver (Ad-Hoc)
Location: Preston, Lancashire
Contract: Ad-Hoc, ongoing
Shift: This role will be on an ad-hoc basis, 1-2 shifts per week, with a variety of start times available.
Hourly Rate: £18.35-£21.21 per hour

About the HGV Class 2 Driver role
You will be responsible for moving parcels and mail across the North West. As a HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be an integral part of the business, spending a lot of time working independently on the road. We are looking for drivers with a ‘can-do’ attitude as interaction with the load will be required. You will be responsible for maintaining the security of the load and the condition of the vehicle.
What are the rates of pay?
Our client is currently offering a day shift pay rate of £17.31 per hour. For night shifts, drivers will be paid up to £20.01 per hour.
Requirements for a HGV Class 2 Driver include:
All candidates must have held their licence for 2 years
A valid in-date CPC
No more than 6 points on licence (licence checks will apply)
No more than 3 Tacho infringements (this will be checked prior to the assessment being booked)
