Job Title: HGV Class 2 DriverJob Type: PermanentLocation: Radford, Nottingham UKSalary: £15.38 per hour
Shift pattern: You will be working on a 4 on 2 off shift pattern so this will mean you will be working weekends when in the rota.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the driving industry with a reputable company.Key Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently operating a HGV Class 2 vehicle to deliver and collect linen to designated locations within the East Midlands- Conducting pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and reporting any defects or malfunctions.- Adhering to all relevant legislation and company policies regarding health and safety, road transport regulations, and vehicle maintenance.- Loading and unloading goods using relevant equipment and ensuring proper securement for transportation.- Communicating effectively with the transport team to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues that may arise.- Completing relevant paperwork and keeping accurate records of deliveries, including maintaining a detailed log of hours driven and mileage covered.Qualifications and Requirements:- Hold a valid and up-to-date HGV Class 2 driving license.- Possess a valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).- Previous experience in a similar HGV driving role is highly desirable.- Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices.- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.Join our client's team and enjoy competitive pay rates of £15.38 per hour.
