We are looking for a reliable and experienced HGV Driver Class 2 to join our logistics team. This role is essential for our operations, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our customers.
Day-to-day of the role:- Safely operate a heavy goods vehicle to transport goods to various locations.
- Perform daily vehicle checks and report any issues or maintenance requirements.
- Comply with all traffic laws and regulations related to HGV operation.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring that it is secured properly before transit.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and journey logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management to ensure efficient route planning.
- Provide excellent customer service during pick-up and delivery of goods.
- Valid Class 2 HGV licence.
- Proven experience as an HGV Driver.
- Good knowledge of UK roads and traffic regulations.
- Strong time management and punctuality.
- Physical fitness and the ability to handle heavy items.
- Excellent driving record.
