HGV Hiab Driver Job Description: An exciting opportunity has emerged for a dedicated and enthusiastic Class 2 HGV Driver with a proven track record to join our esteemed team. Reporting directly to the Regional Services Manager and working closely with our Transport Administrators and Planners, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our clients.

HGV Hiab Driver Skills & Experience:

• Extensive experience driving a 26T vehicle.
• Profound understanding and knowledge of current EU driver hour regulations, Working Time Directive, and Driver's Tachograph restrictions.
• Possession of a Slinger/Signaller and CSCS accreditation is desirable.
• Driver CPC Qualification hours are essential.
• Familiarity with working in a high-pressure environment.
• In-depth geographical knowledge of London.
• ALLMI Hiab lorry loaders certificate/licence or the CPCS equivalent.
• Local knowledge of all London postcodes is essential.
• Proficiency in handling large and bulky building materials.
• A clean driving license with no liable accidents in the last 3 years.
• High integrity and trustworthiness.
• Preferred experience in Transport & Logistics, Health & Safety, First Aid, or related fields.
• Consistently adhere to company standards.
• Assess and consider site access effectively.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with customers to provide workable solutions.
• Demonstrate the ability to make independent decisions and work collaboratively within a team.
• Strong customer focus.
• Accurate completion of paperwork for both unit movements and vehicle records.
• Conduct routine checks of the vehicle and maintain its general appearance.
• Strict adherence to the company's Health & Safety rules, policies, and procedures, as well as those of our customers when visiting sites.
