HGV TechnicianTamworthShifts: Days or Nights, 4 on 4 off
Our client is actively seeking a qualified HGV Technician to join their IRTEC Accredited workshops. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high standards of mechanical and electrical repair, working collaboratively as part of a team. Key Responsibilities:
* Work as part of a team to maintain and build employee and customer relations, ensuring the workshop operation achieves its objectives and targets.
* Ensure quality diagnostics and repairs according to repair orders.
* Maintain the working capacity of machines and tools.
* Strive to achieve a Rectification Ratio of Zero (right first time).
* Work closely with the VMU manager, communicating the number of parts and labor needed for additional repairs.
* Record and report time spent on repair and maintenance.
* Assure a clean and safe workshop environment at all times.
Qualifications and Experience:
* City & Guilds or NVQ level 3 qualification is desired
* Experience within a fleet or commercial environment working on HGVs.
* HGV Class 1 Driving license is preferred.
* Experience with Tail lifts is desirable.
