We are searching for Motivated, Reliable and Hard-Working HGV Technicians of all levels who will be based from

our client’s depot in Burtonwood, Warrington. Please see below for rates of pay and available shift patterns:

DAYS AND SPLIT SHIFTS RATES OF PAY:

Improver                          £14.84 per hour

Level 3/Time served:     £16.22 per hour

Master Technician:         £18.39 per hour

DAYS AND SPLIT SHIFTS OVERTIME RATES OF PAY:

Improver:                         £22.26 per hour

Level 3/Time served:     £24.33 per hour

Master Technician:         £27.59 per hour

HOURS OF WORK:

DAYS:

08:30 -17:30      Monday to Friday

08:00 – 12:00 Saturdays: work two, take one off, work two take one off etc

PLUS Approx. 5-10 hours overtime available each week at time and a half

SPLIT SHIFTS:

Week 1:              06:00 – 14:30 Monday to Friday

Week 2:          14:00 - 22:30 Monday to Friday

08:00 – 12:00 Saturdays: work two, take one off, work two take one off etc

PLUS Approx. 5-10 hours overtime available each week

NIGHTSHIFT RATES OF PAY:

Improver:                         £19.39 per hour

Level 3/Time served:     £20.33 per hour

Master Technician:         £22.28 per hour

NIGHTSHIFTOVERTIME RATES OF PAY:

Improver:                          £23.75 per hour

Level 3/Time served:     £25.95 per hour

Master Technician:         £29.06 per hour

NIGHTSHIFT HOURS OF WORK:

22:30 – 07:00    Monday to Friday

or

Week 1 20:00 – 06:30 Monday to Thursday

Week 2 20:00 – 06:30 Tuesday to Friday

PLUS Approx. 5 hours overtime available each week

You must only apply if you have relevant Engineering Qualifications such as: NVQ/City and Guilds Level 2 or above in HGV Mechanics, IRTEC or Mechanical Engineering (Military equivalent is also acceptable)

The role of HGV Technician will involve:

• Being responsible for carrying out diagnostics, inspections, service routines, repairs and testing of vehicles in a professional and safe manner, with the most effective use of your time
• Report findings and carrying out all repairs to the current manufacturer’s standards
• Reporting to the shift supervisor
• Investigating and diagnosing faults
• Observe Health and Safety rules
• Liaising with the parts department effectively
