The Client:

Our client a renowned provider of waste management services company, catering to both commercial and residential clients are recruiting for a HGV Technician for their Dover workshop.

The Role:

This is a great opportunity forHGV Technicians looking to work for a forward thinking company, servicing and repairing a modern well-maintained fleet of vehicles and who are looking for stability in their life with flexible schedules and limited weekend working.

Responsibilities:

• Execute regular vehicle / equipment inspections, services, and maintenance.
• Diagnose and promptly address vehicle defects.
• Respond to breakdowns and deliver efficient technical support.
• Maintain compliance through meticulous document control.
• Assume responsibility for technical decisions and facilitate the ordering of necessary parts.

Requirements:

• Previously worked as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or in a similar role.
• Possess relevant qualifications and experience.
• Skilled in DVSA HGV standard inspections with MOT preparation expertise.
• IRTEC qualified or open to assessment.
• Hold Category C License and Level 3 City and Guilds certification. (Preferred)
• Right to work in the UK.
