Hgv Technician

Shorterm Group are looking for a qualified HGV Technician, looking to join one of the largest HGV manufacturers in the UK, on a permanent full-time basis.
We would like to hear from you if you have worked in a similar environment and understand the intricate workings of large commercial vehicles.
Duties of the HGV Technician will include but may not be limited to:
Interpreting instructions from the job card/repair order and comply with repair instructions.
Attending training and keep abreast of the latest technical information.
Accurately reporting and recording work done and tests carried out, including immediately reporting any further work required or vehicle faults.
Maintaining allocated work areas in a clean and tidy condition.
Providing information, maintaining records, and carrying out all duties in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.
Enhancing the image and reputation of the company whilst supporting its commercial interests.
The ideal HGV Technician will have:
A recognised HGV technician qualification
Previous experience of working with HGVs, ideally in a workshop environment.
The ability to work well as part of a small team, be a good communicator and be able to take on a variety of different workloads, planned or otherwise.
The ability to commute to the Gateshead site.
