HGV Technician- Established Commercial Dealer in Huddersfield

• Basic Salary up to £35,500.00 plus overtime.
• Overtime at 1.5x
• 29 days annual leave including bank holidays.
• 42.5 hours a week with overtime availability.

Responsibilities as an HGV Technician: 

• Preparing vehicles for MOT and pre delivery inspections.
• Testing and commissioning of hook and skip equipment 
• Ensure the most efficient and highest possible standard of mechanical and electrical repair
• Responsibility for the safety of the working environment and everyone around. 
• Correct fault diagnosis to ensure replacement parts are fitted correctly and warranty claims are in line with terms
• Completing job cards and service sheets in a timely manner
• Build employee and customer relations to ensure targets are met.

Requirements to become a HGV Technician:

• City & Guilds or NVQ level 3 is essential
• Tachograph Certified
• Experience in Loler Testing.
• Experience as an HGV Technician in a commercial dealership. 
• A customer-focused approach with great communication skills. 
• A Full, UK Driving Licence.
• HGV Class 1 license preferred but not essential or NVQ level 3 is essential
