Position: HGV Technician
Location: Rochester, Kent
Salary: Starting at £39,312 per annum

A client of ours is a leading scaffolding company based in Rochester, Kent. Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HGV Technician to join our dynamic team. As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our fleet of heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) used for transporting scaffolding materials. You may be required to travel off site to vechiles so own transport is essential. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Perform inspections and safety checks to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure minimal downtime of vehicles.
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (essential).
• Proven experience as an HGV Technician or in a similar role is preferred not essential 
• Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills.
• Valid UK driving license.
