About the Role:
As a skilled or semi-skilled mechanic, you'll play a vital role in maintaining our fleet of heavy goods trailers. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertaking general garage duties
* Conducting 6 weekly PMI inspections and daily defect repairs
* Preparing for MOT tests
* Performing brake roller testing
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday 7am till 5pm
* Saturday 6am till 10am
* Overtime available in the week and weekends
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a candidate with:
* Minimum 4 years of experience as an HGV Trailer Mechanic
* Driving licence (Class 1 or 2 preferable)
* Ability to work independently and take instructions
* Own tools
* Diagnostics, brake roller testing, and fabrication skills are advantageous
