Self employed candidates are welcome

Starting salary of GBP15 per hour negotiable depending on experience

On call weekly bonus

About the Role:

As a skilled or semi-skilled mechanic, you'll play a vital role in maintaining our fleet of heavy goods trailers. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

Undertaking general garage duties

Conducting 6 weekly PMI inspections and daily defect repairs

Preparing for MOT tests

Performing brake roller testing

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday 7am till 5pm

Saturday 6am till 10am

Overtime available in the week and weekends

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a candidate with:

Minimum 4 years of experience as an HGV Trailer Mechanic

Driving licence (Class 1 or 2 preferable)

Ability to work independently and take instructions

Own tools

Diagnostics, brake roller testing, and fabrication skills are advantageous
