• Self employed candidates are welcome
• Starting salary of £15 per hour negotiable depending on experience
• On call weekly bonus

About the Role:

As a skilled or semi-skilled mechanic, you'll play a vital role in maintaining our fleet of heavy goods trailers. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertaking general garage duties
• Conducting 6 weekly PMI inspections and daily defect repairs
• Preparing for MOT tests
• Performing brake roller testing

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday 7am till 5pm
• Saturday 6am till 10am
• Overtime available in the week and weekends

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a candidate with:

• Minimum 4 years of experience as an HGV Trailer Mechanic
• Driving licence (Class 1 or 2 preferable)
• Ability to work independently and take instructions
• Own tools
• Diagnostics, brake roller testing, and fabrication skills are advantageous
