Are you an experienced Controls Engineer with previous experience working Electrical Distribution Systems? Do you want the opportunity to work in one of the UKs leading providers of electricity networks?
This company is at the forefront of the industry, they own and maintain a number of electricity cables and lines across the south of the UK.
In this position you will be responsible for a section of the distribution network using SCADA and other network information systems. You will also give advice and instruction to ensure that the company provides safe and rapid response to any faults or unplanned situations. You will make sure to check and authorise any planned operations on your section of the network.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working on High Voltage systems, if you previously worked as an AP/SAP that would be an advantage. Alternatively, you may have been a Controls Engineer on electricity distribution systems. At a minimum you must have an ONC or equivalent.

The Role:
*High Voltage Controls Engineer
*Manage a section of the distribution network using SCADA
*Provide technical advice to field operations team
*Checking and authorising planned HV schedules
*£55,000 - £62,000 + Bonus + Progression + Training + Up to 10% Pension + Regular Pay Reviews
The Person:
*Minimum of ONC or equivalent
*Experience working on HV systems, ideally as an AP/SAP
*Or, experience as a Controls Engineer for electricity distribution systems
*Good understanding of Distribution Safety Rules
