About the Company:
We are pleased to announce we have been retained by Arbil Limited, a renowned industry leader in innovative lifting gear solutions who are seeking an exceptional Hire Manager to join their thriving Lifting Gear Division. This is an outstanding opportunity to take charge of a critical business unit and drive it to new heights of success within a dynamic, forward-thinking organisation.
As the Hire Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing Arbil's Lifting Gear and Rail Hire business, ensuring it achieves the ambitious goals outlined in the Lifting Gear Business Plan. Reporting to the Lifting General Manager and visionary Directors, you will leverage your deep industry expertise and strong commercial acumen to propel the division forward and cement Arbil's position as the premier provider of lifting gear solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a talented team of Hire and Workshop professionals.
- Build lasting relationships with key accounts and uncover new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to deliver the Lifting Gear Business Plan.
- Optimise the hire fleet through effective management and strategic investments.
- Promote Arbil's complete Lifting Gear offering, including Hire, Sales, Service and Engineering.
- Ensure branch performance targets are consistently met.
- Maintain a relentless focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
Qualifications and Experience:
- You Must Have – a proven track record in Lifting Gear and/or Hire Management experience.
- Ideally you will have in-depth technical and application knowledge, but you can be trained up technically.
- Excellent interpersonal and man-management skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to achieve superior performance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Flexible and willing to assist other departments and locations.
- UK driving license and willingness to travel.
