Randstad Education is actively seeking a qualified and enthusiastic History Teacher to join our committed team and contribute to a school located in Blackpool. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, delivering, and assessing History lessons for secondary school students, aligning with the UK National Curriculum. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging History lessons that meet the requirements of the UK National Curriculum, catering to the diverse learning needs of secondary school students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting student participation, critical thinking, and historical inquiry.
- Implement effective classroom management techniques to establish a conducive learning environment, prioritising student safety and well-being.
- Utilise various teaching methodologies and resources, including technology, to enrich the learning experience and accommodate different learning styles.
- Create and administer assessments to assess student progress, offering timely and constructive feedback to support their academic development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the refinement of the History curriculum, actively participate in school activities, and engage in continuous professional development.
