Job description

We are looking for experienced Home Care Workers . This role involves working in the client's home providing all aspects of personal, domestic and social inclusion care including:

• Assistance with all aspects of personal care, including:
• Showering and bathing.
• Dressing and grooming.
• Toileting and incontinence management.
• Assistance with all aspects of medication and the usage of aids and personal equipment such as Nasogastric feeding equipment (training will be given), ceiling track hoist, profiling bed or walking aids.
• Assistance with day-to-day tasks such as feeding including medication through a nasogastric tube, including PH balance checks.
• Providing companionship, and support in the customers mental and physical activities, such as respiratory/oxygen management over a 24-hour period. Oxygen therapy through a nasal canular over 24 hours.
• Assistance with CPAP therapy overnight, and wearing a mask.
• Assist with Salbutamol Nebulisers for increased secretions, and suction for excess secretions.

Requirements * Minimum 2 years’ experience in health and social care

• Relevant health and social care qualifications from accredited training provider would be desirable.
• Valid photo driving licence.
• Valid passport.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Leicester, LE4 5HH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required). Will be working in LE67 4JA

Experience:

• Providing care: 2 years (preferred).

Certification:

• NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
