Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager to join our fantastic service providing outstanding care for adults with nursing, dementia and residential needs. Your primary focus will be to ensure the delivery of high-quality care, while maintaining a positive and supportive environment for both residents and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strong leadership and management to the nursing home, ensuring the highest standards of care are always maintained.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and personal growth.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including those set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and take appropriate action to address any areas of improvement.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders, promoting open communication and a person-centred approach to care.
- Manage the financial aspects of the nursing home, including budgeting, resource allocation, and cost control, while ensuring the provision of quality care remains uncompromised.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of the nursing home, implementing necessary changes and improvements to enhance the overall quality of care and resident satisfaction.
- A valid Nursing PIN is desirable but not essential
- Proven experience in managing a nursing home, with a strong track record of success in delivering high quality care and achieving positive CQC ratings.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of the regulatory framework governing nursing and residential care for older adults.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, resource management, and cost control.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders.
- A passion for providing person-centred care and improving the lives of older adults.
