Position Overview:
Currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Home Manager to oversee the operations of a 60-bedded dementia and residential care home located in Gainsborough. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality care, exceptional leadership skills, and a strong commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and compassion.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, ensuring the delivery of person-centered care to all residents.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the nursing home, including staffing, budget management, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare professionals, ensuring individualised care and support.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment for residents, families, and staff, promoting open communication and teamwork.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care and services provided, implementing improvements as necessary to enhance resident satisfaction and well-being.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including CQC requirements, safeguarding procedures, and health and safety guidelines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders, acting as an advocate for their needs and preferences.
Qualifications:
- Nursing degree or equivalent
- NMC Registered - RGN or RMN or RNLD
- Right to work in the UK
- Previous experience in a managerial or leadership role within a similar care setting, preferably with experience in dementia care.
