Home Ownership Manager

Job description

About The Role

We are looking for an exceptional Home Ownership Manager who will be responsible for the service delivery to customers that comprise Housing Solutions commercial, leasehold, shared ownership, market rented and key worker rented accommodation. The postholder will be expected to deliver a robust segmentation strategy, understanding the needs of Home Ownership residents through customer profiling and needs analysis.


Reporting to the Head of Development, you will be the key strategic and operational lead in delivering our approach to our commercial properties, home owners, service charges and shared owners, ensuring target income levels are achieved or exceeded and high levels of customer satisfaction are achieved and maintained. You will have experience of developing relationships and have knowledge of existing and future third party managing agents.

About you

You will be the organisational champion and key operational and strategic lead on consultations under section 20 Landlord and Tenant Act 1985, ensuring t is a comprehensive cross-organisational plan in place to effectively and efficiently manage the consultation process including high standards of communication and transparency with our customer base.


You will bring a proven track record of success in a similar role and a drive to proactively deliver. You will have the ability to read and interpret complex legislation, analyse and improve processes to drive efficiency and have excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, including public speaking.


You will have experience of managing a team of people and creating a positive working environment by modelling behaviours including teamwork, innovation, inclusivity and ownership.

You’ll need a flexible approach to work, as some occasional out of hours work may be required, as well as a full UK driving licence and the use of a car insured for business use.


The successful applicant will require a basic/enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate which is considered satisfactory to Housing Solutions.
