Homelessness & Prevention Officer needed in Rugby Paying £15.70 per hr ref 16293

Full time hours on a temporary basis

This role will involve:

• To work with clients to prevent homelessness and where this is not possible to support clients into alternative accommodation within the private rented sector or social housing as appropriate.

• To interview, learn the housing need and provide high quality, tailored advice to all people that approach the Client for guidance on their housing situation.

• To take all necessary steps to prevent and relieve homelessness, including carrying out home visits to landlords, families, mediation and reconciliation wherever possible.
